Blogging for the class. This is a new and innovative way to allow students and parents to see what is actually going on in the classroom. You can consider it a mini-lesson to students or for parents to use as they try and help tackle homework. It is also great tool for parents to see what is going on in their child's classroom, without interrupting class time or their work schedule. Parents need to be involved with what is going on in the classroom, but for so many parents work schedules get in the way. With a blog parents can view their childs agenda at thier leisure. Blogging truly can capture the students interest and as teachers isn't that what we should be doing. Capturing our students attention and desire to want to learn. This is technology at its best, without leaving your comfort zone.

With blogs you can view all those different styles, approaches and see it in action. Your invited into the other persons world or point of view and able to see their workshop, seminars, ideas. As a teacher you are connected with hundreds of other teachers around the world bringing what they think is a great idea to you.
Vision for the future. Blogging truly is an advanced technology or approach to enlarging our teacher capabilities and allowing future teachers as ourselves to be able to bring the world to our classroom.

Hi Ms. Mary.Blogging is definently a great way to stay in touch with the world.I liked how you said that parents can blog with their childs teacher rather than interrupting their work schedule. We as future teachers will not have that much time to conference with are children's teachers, so blogging would be a great tool to use.I agree with you about teachers trying something new. Teachers need to spice up the way they teach because the students need to want to learn , so the lastest technology would definently spark their interest.Blogging has set the tone for teachers to change up the classroom!
